The problem with goal setting is most of the time, the goal is usually compromised. Most of the time, it seems hard sticking with it. To save you the trouble, here are the Three “R” that can help you making your goal setting more effective.
1. Re-commit.
When you set a goal, it means you are making a commitment. The main key in keeping up with commitments is having a great understanding the need to get there. What motivates you to be a better person? What will it benefit you when you reach your goal? The most effective way is to keep your goals on sight.
2. Repeat.
Repetition is the key. Remind yourself of the future “you” that you’re after for. Visualize the future and always have a positive perspective. When you lose hope, concentrate again to your destination. Always remind yourself destiny is a matter of our choice.
3. Re-evaluate.
We are our own enemy. Sometimes, even if we are reminded always we get tired and impatient with the result. “Now” is always a good time to re-evaluate you, your habits and lifestyle.
